This painting had already been sold, but the artist, knowing the importance of archival master files, needed the painting photographed. Being located in a home in-situ in Margaret River, the painting required being photographed on location.

 

I am able to photograph artwork such as this on location with my portable art reproduction kit. Although somewhat more challenging than in my studio, a similar level of quality can be expected with a methodical approach to lighting and camera work. The finished result is an archival master able to be printed and displayed for years to come.
